3. Creating Image -Option 1 Backing up to an External Drive

1. Set the device bios to boot to the bootable media, or use the relevant bios key on the keyboard of the device that needs to be backed up

This is usually done by pressing F9 on HP’s and F12 on DELL’s and Lenovo’s

2. Select “Backup” in the menu on the left panel and choose “Disk Backup”

3. Add the source disk (this is from the device that needs backing up)

Be aware to choose the correct source disk to backup

4. Choose the destination (the drive you want to save the backup to), this could be the bootable media if there’s enough space, or another connected external drive

5. Once satisfied, click “Start Backup” to activate the process. Wait until completed to eject media.
