7. Restoring From USB Bootable Media

1. To restore an image from the bootable USB, you need to set your bios to boot from USB as the first bootable option or use bios boot key on the device
2. Once boot is complete, navigate to “Restore” in the left panel and select “Select Image File”
3.Select the image you need to restore and select the .adi file of that image, and proceed
4. This will take you to a window of the backed-up structure of the image
5. The default option is “Restore the entire disk”. Leave this option on unless you only want to restore a partition
Make sure the disk size on the device you’re restoring to is the same size as the backup image or larger
6. Click anywhere inside the source disc display box to enable the “Next” button below
7. On this window you will be required to choose the correct destination disk. You can’t restore to the same source disk
Everything on the destination disk will be erased. You will get a warning on the next window regarding this
8. Click “OK” unless you need to cancel the operation. As mentioned before – all data on the destination disk will be erased
Make sure the disk size on the device you’re restoring to is the same size as the backup image or larger
9. The parameters of the operation is displayed here…Source Disk >> Destination Disk.
Tick the “Universal Restore” box if you’re restoring to dissimilar hardware than the source image hardware. Click “Start Restore” to begin the restoration process
10. A progress circle will be displayed to give some information on the process.
You can click the “Update system information” for a more detailed information panel
The option to set the shutdown/Restart device after completion is present in the gear button in the bottom left if you so desire
